About Dry Brush Technique...

In my technique, I use ivory black oil paint rubbed by brushes on a high quality paper. I use an eraser to make the highlights, and sometimes white paint for the lightest of lights. In this technique I may use pastel, charcoal, ink etc. I slightly touch brushes in the paint and rub them on a palette so the brushes are actually almost dry. The paint on paper is not greasy to the touch. After the portrait is finished, the portrait can be immediately inserted into a frame or rolled up for transportation without a frame.

How it works...

First, decide on a size you want your portrait. Second, send me the photo(s) by email or by post for reviewing. Try your best to find clear photo(s). The photo should be clear enough to see the detailed features of the subject. From a good photo I can certainly create an artwork of masterpiece quality for you.
